Bio: Hi, My name is Samantha Pentz and I am so excited to be the counselor at Hearst School. Here is a little bit about me:

I have always known that I wanted to help people and work in the social services field. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Sociology and then went to Concordia University to get my masters in School Counseling. I have been working as a counselor in CPS for 13 years. 

I have an amazing husband and 2 beautiful children. I love being a mom. I was born and raised in Chicago and I have no intention of ever leaving this great city. I am a huge Chicago sports fan and love going to cheer on my favorite teams, especially the White Sox. I am currently teaching myself to cook because I am not very good at it and you are never too old to learn something new. 

I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
